Keeps your cheeks away from your teeth to give the AI a clear view.

The Process in 4 Easy Steps

Take a Scan

You will receive a notification (usually weekly) to take a quick scan using the ScanBox Pro. It takes less than a minute.

AI Analysis

The intelligent system analyses the images instantly, checking aligner fit or bracket positioning.

Specialist Review

Images are sent securely to Pure Orthodontics. We review the data to ensure treatment is progressing as planned.

Receive Feedback

You get a notification via the app giving you the "thumbs up" or advising on next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it difficult to use?
Not at all. The app guides you through every step with voice commands. If you can take a selfie, you can use Dental Monitoring!
What happens if I forget to scan?
The app will send you friendly reminders. If you miss a scan, just take it as soon as you remember to keep treatment on time.
How do I download the app?
The app is free on the App Store or Google Play. However, you need a login to use it. When monitoring starts, we will send you an activation email with your details.
Which smartphones are compatible?
Practically all recent smartphones are compatible (minimum Android 8 or iOS 13). Top Tip: If you have trouble attaching the ScanBox, try removing your phone case first.
How do I clean the ScanBox Pro? Is it dishwasher safe?
No, do not put it in the dishwasher. High heat can warp the plastic. Simply rinse the cheek retractor with cold water and mild soap after use, then air dry.
Is the ScanBox recyclable?
Yes! We care about the environment. The ScanBox Pro uses less plastic than previous models, and the components are recyclable at the end of treatment.
